Heat Wave

The heat wave has finally broke! The record breaking temperatures of 100 are now around 80. Which after a week of 100, 80 feels cool! For some one like me anything under 65 is perfect. This morning after the rain which was torrential but refreshing, the birds were singing, the rabbits were out from hiding and the deer were munching on the berries in the yard, the flowers were even perky. All was right with nature again. Aaaaahhhhhh. As the sun sets and I look out my window in my bedroom, there all stretched out on the wet grass was peter cottontail, content. What a beautiful image to see, I should be so content and thankful as he, or she.

There are many moments in my life when words are not enough to express the depth of feeling I may have , this is when I turn to my empty canvas and reach deep down into my soul and try to give birth to those feelings of empathy through my creative experience. My senses are satisfied in the experience even though a piece of work may never be finished, and usually revisited. I am fortunate for the gift and opportunity to indulge my inner soul and spirit, I hope that the art I chose to share here will inspire others to create and in turn share with me. Take what you want from it, leave what you want, it is free. I appreciate any and all feed back.
